lyrics

Well, Here comes the tale of Miss Vaudeville
Eighteen years old and ready to kill
Likes to tie ribbons up in her hair, but be careful boys….
She keeps her Switchblade there
Do do do do do……..

Her darling left her, or so they say
That’s how she got the name of that blade…..
‘Darling Dearest’ in steel she trusts
So she takes the train, to Los Angeles
Do do do do do……

Now, Miss Vaudevilles’ the talk of the town
With her ribbons and curls, she there to Hunt him down
Dancing at Tonys Club, His new bird
Then one dark night, she overheard…..

“Hey there old boy, see the girl over there
The one with the ribbons and the curls in her hair
Isn’t that Harrys’ girl, that dirty ol’ rat!
Just to up and leave his family like that”
Do do do do do……

She crosses the room, Stands behind his chair
Tilts his chin and says “ Well Honey, what do we have here”
Her fingers are swift as she pulls from her hair, one red ribbon and…..
